Project description:
The construction of a 400 kV line between Bydgoszcz Zachód - Piła Krzewina is an important investment for the energy security of northern and western Poland, especially the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship. It is a large and complex undertaking, covering several municipalities.
In addition, once the Bydgoszcz Zachód – Piła Krzewina line has been commissioned, it will be possible to transfer to the power system more power than at present from the Bydgoszcz Zachód and Piła Krzewina substations, to which it is planned to connect new wind farms being built in this area via 110 kV lines.
