Project description:
PILE ELBUD, in cooperation with Distribution Operators all over Poland, has in its project portfolio the execution of tasks on the facilities of Energa-Operator SA. One such contract is the modernization of a 110kV line between Kalisz Centrum – Kalisz Północ and Kalisz Centrum – Piwonice.
This task consists in the replacement of phase wires and adjustment of the line to the +80°C load capacity. This will allow to increase the transmission capacity of the above mentioned lines while maintaining its current route and occupied area.
As part of the work, phase wires, a part of insulator strings will be replaced and two pole posts will be raised. Additionally, one of the lightning conductors of the line will be replaced by an OPGW cable, which enables data transmission via optical fibre.
